This page describes storage used by the current Osevaro website and shopping app. It does not describe advertising trackers.
Sign-in, basket and security
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies when needed for signing in, maintaining your account session and remembering basket contents. Security and form protections may use cookies or short-lived tokens to help prevent abuse. The exact cookies depend on the features you use and expire according to their session or cookie settings. Signing out ends access to your account session.
Your wishlist and appearance choice
Your wishlist stores product identifiers in this browser under osevaro-wishlist-v1. It stays on this device and does not sync to your account. Removing saved items or clearing site data removes them. The appearance setting uses osevaro-theme-v1 to remember a light or dark preference until you change it or clear site data. Neither is an advertising profile.
Installation suggestions and the opening screen
Session storage remembers whether an installation suggestion was dismissed or the app was installed, using osevaro-app-promotion-dismissed and osevaro-app-installed. The opening screen uses osevaro-splash-v3 to avoid repeating within the same tab session. These flags contain no tracking identifier and are kept for the browser’s tab-session lifetime.
The installable app cache
The service worker may keep public interface assets, app icons and a generic offline notice on your device. It does not cache private account, basket, checkout or contact pages for offline reading. Shopping and account actions require an internet connection. App cache entries can be replaced during updates or removed in your browser’s site-data settings.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, we load Google Analytics to measure visits to public pages and views of public products. Google processes a browser identifier, general device/browser information, approximate location and the pages viewed. We do not send your name, email address, account details, form entries, search terms or order details. We exclude account, basket, checkout, contact, withdrawal and search pages, and pages with unapproved query parameters. Only fixed, non-personal campaign labels are accepted for referral reporting. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. No Google Analytics requests or analytics cookies are used before you allow analytics.
Your analytics choice
Use Cookie settings in Help or on this page to allow or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting does not affect shopping or your account. We remember your choice on this device for up to 180 days using osevaro-analytics-consent-v1 in local storage; it contains your choice and its time, not a tracking identifier. After you allow analytics, Google uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* for up to 180 days. Their expiry is not extended on each visit. Rejecting later stops future analytics measurement and removes these analytics cookies; it does not automatically delete data already processed. Clearing site storage removes your choice and we will ask again.
Other storage and questions
You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser; doing so may sign you out, remove preferences or remove your wishlist. Blocking essential storage may prevent a requested feature from working. For questions or a data request, email [email protected] or read our privacy notice.
Movement preference
Your choice to pause or resume the moving announcement strip is remembered in this tab for the current browsing session using session storage (osevaro-motion-paused). This preference is not linked to your account.
